It Might Start Like This

President Hillary Rodham Clinton nominates former Attorney General Eric Holder to the Supreme Court to fill the vacancy created by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, with the potential of giving the liberals a 5-4 majority and the ability to reshape American society to the Left for the next hundred years. The Republicans escape the November elections with a narrow 51-49 majority in the Senate and Holder’s nomination is bitterly opposed, the televised hearings of the Judiciary Committee are particularly acrimonious and on Thursday, 25 May 2017, Holder’s nomination is rejected. 

Over the four-day Memorial Day weekend, Chicago endures a record-breaking wave of shootings as gangs battle for turf and scores are settled.  Speaking from his hometown, and in the context of Holder’s defeat in the Senate, former President and Priest-King of the Golden Temple Barack Hussein Obama rails against “gun violence” and demands that President Clinton take immediate executive action to stop it, which prompts her to issue a Presidential finding that the private ownership of firearms within Cook, DuPage, Lake and Will Counties in Illinois and Lake County, Indiana, poses a “clear and present danger” to the national security of the United States. With this finding as her basis but with no legal or Constitutional authority to do so, she directs the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) to coordinate with local law enforcement authorities in those jurisdictions to confiscate all registered private firearms and to arrest anyone who refuses to comply. She furthers directs the Attorney General to support BATFE with whatever Federal resources may be necessary to implement her order.

The Governor of Illinois promises to cooperate with BATFE but the Governor of Indiana and the Sheriff of Lake County do not, citing the Second, Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments and the egregious violation of Federalism that President Clinton’s order represents. The State of Indiana sues the President in Federal court to block the order while the Attorney General threatens to arrest the Governor of Indiana and the Sheriff of Lake County for obstruction of justice, and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan loudly warns Clinton that funding for the Federal government will be frozen if she proceeds.   The situation then explodes when BATFE agents attempt to seize the lawfully-owned and registered handgun of a citizen of Cook County. A 72 year-old Vietnam veteran refuses to allow BATFE into his home and when they try to force their way in, he shoots one agent and is then killed himself, the entire episode recorded on body camera video which is hacked and published to YouTube by pro-Second Amendment activists. Blood is spilled and the entire world now knows that Hillary Rodham Clinton is willing to kill American citizens as she deprives them of their Constitutional rights.

The Governor of Indiana mobilizes the Indiana National Guard and the Indiana State Police and authorizes them to recruit and deputize citizen volunteers to defend the state from Federal aggression, while President Clinton orders the 101^st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to support the enforcement of her order, citing Section 1076 of the amended Insurrection Act as her authority. Some soldiers refuse to obey and are arrested themselves, and as the rest of the division air assaults to Indianapolis, a force of 15,000 armed Hoosiers deploys to oppose them. The stage is set for the first battle of the Second Civil War.

I’m not saying that this scenario will happen or if it’s even likely: I hope it is not. I am clearly speculating and obviously many, many things would have to go wrong for this tragedy to play out, and there are plenty of cooler, more reasonable heads in this country who would assert themselves in this sort of crisis. On the other hand, HRC is a bitter opponent of the Second Amendment, an outspoken critic of the Heller v. District of Columbia decision that confirmed an individual right to Keep and Bear Arms, an admirer of Priest-King’s unconstitutional usurpation of legislative power and she has publicly stated that if she were elected President, she would nominate Justices who would reinterpret the Second Amendment and overturn Heller, making an armed clash between the Federal government and the States who created it a faint but real possibility. Thus it would seem that the surest way to avoid such a disaster would be to vote against Hillary Rodham Clinton on 07 November and deprive her of the opportunity to impose her autocratic views on the country, or at least it seems that way to me. 

Terraforming

In the movie Man of Steel, the crazed villain General  Zod uses two gigantic “world engines” to try to recreate the planet Krypton that disintegrated many centuries before. By placing one engine in the city of Metropolis and the other in the southern Indian Ocean, Zod intends to physically transform the Earth into an exact duplicate of Krypton so that he and his band of followers can then rebuild the Kryptonian civilization to which they are accustomed. That virtually all of humanity would be eradicated in the process bothers him not a bit; if seven billion people have to die so that his tiny group of aliens can enjoy an environment more hospitable to their needs, then so be it. Of course, Superman intervenes to destroy the engines and save the day, but the damage and death caused by Zod’s interrupted reshaping of the Earth would take decades to undo.

Since 20 January 2009, Barack Hussein Obama has been reshaping American society and indeed the world to fit his vision of human existence and has largely succeeded:

• ·         Vast sums of wealth have been transferred from the prosperous to the indolent, from America to the rest of the world, from citizens to illegals, from his political enemies to his allies.

• ·         The American health care system has been restructured to favor his constituents.  Thanks to the Supreme Court saving his signature legislative achievement not once but twice, Obama can force private citizens to engage in commerce of his choosing and at their cost and the law can mean whatever he says it means.  Even as it collapses, as I and many other commentators predicted – Aetna announced that it lost $430 million since January 2014 and is leaving 11 of 15 markets it services because it is impossible to make a profit – Obama and his allies count it a victory because it advances his vision. Priest-King will blame the health insurance companies and capitalism itself for Obamacare’s failure and will demand that only a single program created, staffed and managed by the Federal government (the same Federal government that weaponized the IRS against conservative policy groups, that neglects, defrauds, lies about and then leaves veterans to die and that refuses to enforce immigration law) can provide and distribute health care to the American people…and to whoever else he wills. The shift from a nation based on equality of rights to one based on equality of results will go forward and Priest-King’s golden image, standing majestic and bejeweled in the pantheon of Leftist gods, will be worshipped by his hypnotized acolytes.

• ·         Every law prohibiting homosexuality and homosexual marriage has been struck down and opponents face ridicule, threats, lawsuits, bankruptcy and prison. Transgenderism has been elevated to a civil right.  Connected to this, homosexuality is now accepted within the U.S. military and every job, even the most demanding like Special Forces and artillery, is now open to women. Eric Fanning became the first openly gay head of a service department when he was sworn in as Secretary of the Army.

• ·         Every effort to slow down the onrush of illegal immigrants and to deport the millions already here has been beaten back. The number and political power of sanctuary cities have grown and it is only a matter of time before illegals are granted to right to vote, creating a new Democrat constituency the size of New York.

• ·         Those countries normally counted as enemies of the United States – China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba – have been empowered while Bashar al-Assad, once threatened with a “red line,” still torments his own people. The impulse to directly confront ISIS has been throttled and Russia sets the agenda in both Syria and Ukraine.  The Communist Castro brothers still rule Cuba, which now enjoys full diplomatic relations with the United States while not releasing a single political prisoner: Priest-King watched a baseball game in Havana while ISIS thugs murdered 32 people and injured over 300 in Brussels.

• ·         Despite universal revulsion at the case of Dr. Kermit Gosnell and at videos released by anti-abortion activists, Federal funding for Planned Parenthood has been protected and closing the Federal government yielded nothing.

• ·         By refusing to approve the Trans-Canada XL Pipeline, by imposing new EPA regulations on fuel efficiency and power plants and favoring high-cost, inefficient and low-yield alternatives like wind turbines and pond scum, Priest-King has vigorously assailed carbon-based fuels and promoted the clean energy agenda, fully cognizant that closing coal-fired power plants would cripple the U.S. economy, which derives 40% of its energy from coal.

• ·         His negotiating strategy of all-or-nothing, together with his defiance of U.S. law and the Constitution itself to assert dictatorial power, has ensured the survival of Obamacare and led to the crack-up of the Republican Party. Their majorities in Congress have been impotent against him, funding for his projects continues unabated and he faces no threat of impeachment for his brazen lawlessness.

• ·         His handpicked successor has been confirmed as the first woman to be nominated for President by a major political party and will be beholden to him throughout her administration, given he protected her from criminal prosecution for her e-mail and bribery scandals.  He first defeated her and then made her his vassal, demonstrating the depth and scope of control he wields over the Democrat Party, the legal machinery of the U.S. government and American society itself, ensuring that his goal – the complete and irreversible transformation of the American republic into a Soviet oligarchy – is not only achieved but sustained.

Traditional American society in which individual rights, limited government, achievement, drive, ambition, self-reliance, innovation, patriotism and the two-parent, husband + wife family were cherished and protected is disappearing, not of necessity but because it is anathema to the modern fanatical Left. Sloth, indolence, selfishness, envy, tribalism and degeneracy are the virtues they prize and like the psychotic General Zod, they don’t care that the old society that spawned so much freedom and prosperity and opportunity is destroyed so long as their society, the one more hospitable to class warfare, racism, dissipation, vice and rigid state control over life and death and which bathroom you can use replaces it. Priest-King, building upon the legacy of the former Fornicator-in-Chief, has pushed us much closer to that world and if she is elected, Hillary Rodham Clinton will push us even further, but they strive for a world that has already been realized: Would anyone doubt that the citizens of Russia, Venezuela, China and North Korea live in a paradise on earth? Or Krypton?

The Triumph of Reality

Omar Mateen, a 29 year-old security guard and Muslim fanatic, used two firearms that he purchased

legally to murder 49 people and wound 53 others at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, during the early morning hours of Sunday, 12 June 2016. After starting his murderous rampage, he paused to call 9-1-1 to claim responsibility and pledge his allegiance to ISIS, then continued shooting people before he was himself killed in a gun battle with police. Witnesses report that he repeatedly used racist, misogynist and anti-gay slurs during the attack and at his workplace before the attack, and he was interrogated – and released – three times by the FBI for his connections to Muslim terrorist groups.

Facts are wonderful things. They stare you in the face with cold, unblinking, emotionless eyes.  They don’t change and they don’t care about ideology, the political climate or social justice. They are what they are, and in a horrible moment like this, they can simply be accepted as such to guide future action so that similar incidents can be prevented.  Or, as Priest-King, HRC, the Democrat Party and their Leftist media construct do, they can be ignored because they are inconvenient, because they don’t fit an ideological blueprint or because they don’t advance the right political agenda. Priest-King and HRC talk about “terror” and “hate” and “tragedy” and complain about how easily Mateen bought his guns but they don’t explain whose terror was perpetrated and whose hate was vented nor why Mateen was released by the FBI three separate times, and they dismiss Mateen’s own public declaration of loyalty to ISIS as invalid, as does their amen corner in the Council on American-Islamic Relations. They revert to their shopworn argument that universal background checks would have deterred this massacre when it is manifestly evident they would not – Mateen passed two background checks when he bought his guns and had not been arrested, charged or convicted of a crime – so what they are dog-whistling to the broader audience is the suspension of a person’s Second Amendment rights on the mere suspicion, not simply of criminal activity, but of any activity to which the radical Left objects. (Think Christian bakers who refuse to bake a cake for a gay wedding.) They also ignore – again – that Omar Mateen’s one-man jihad was only stopped by the intervention of the Orlando Police Department SWAT team, since apparently nobody in the Pulse nightclub was carrying a firearm themselves, meaning that 102 people were shot before someone had the effective means to shut him down. By strictly controlling the exercise of Second Amendment rights for the law-abiding public, Priest-King and his socialist one-worlders guaranteed Mateen a large, defenseless and target-rich environment and thus are complicit to his gruesome crimes. But though not a word will be said as to their guilt, the facts remain the facts.

Sharia law condemns homosexuality. Another fact that Priest-King chooses to ignore is that the Muslims he has wooed and apologized to and protected the last eight years absolutely detest the depravity of western culture, which includes the flaunting and celebration of homosexuality. Gays are hanged and stoned in Iran and ISIS throws them from rooftops so it’s not hard to imagine a young, angry, small-time loser like Omar Mateen being driven to a homicidal fury by the sight of hundreds of gays, lesbians and drag queens parading themselves in public. If Priest-King acknowledged this fact, he would throw into question the policy he has so ardently pursued during his Presidency and his core beliefs themselves, so he deliberately pushes ahead with the same flawed philosophy that led to Fort Hood, the Boston Marathon bombings, Chattanooga, Paris, San Bernardino, Brussels and now Orlando. More people will die, more lives will be ruined, more destruction and misery will ensue because staring facts in the face would invalidate everything he believes in, he would be proven to be spectacularly and fatally wrong and that thought is simply unimaginable: His support for Islam as a legitimate alternative to Christianity – because Islam doesn’t require personal acknowledgment and confession and repentance for sin, and accepting Jesus Christ as the only source of salvation, unacceptable to the liberal mind – lies at the core of his being. How could he be such a fool? How could he be so naïve? How could he have believed that a religion based on the 7^th century Arab bandit culture of slaughter, rape, pillage and slavery be compatible with postmodern liberal philosophy? These are questions from which Priest-King recoils, he instinctively dismisses violent Islamic ideology as a motive for terrorism, demands the further restriction of guns, blames conservatives for his failures and shifts the debate away from those horrible, relentless facts.

The worst mass shooting in American history reminds us that reality trumps dogma, that the thousands of people killed every year by violent Muslims don’t die because young Muslim men are uneducated, unemployed and poor but because Muslim ideology itself demands their deaths, that Muslim ideology condemns homosexuality and rejects the casual acceptance of deviant lifestyles promoted by the fellow-traveling Left, that it’s not the gun but the fanatic wielding it that’s the threat, and that there is a clear and powerful and unmistakable moral distinction between Islam and the societies Islam wants to destroy. If we cannot together accept and acknowledge and then act on these facts, to deter and finally defeat the march of jihad, then the only people who will profit will be the gravediggers.
